Helmholtz working group on MCDA for Sustainability Assessment
Welcome to the Helmholtz Working Group on MCDA for Sustainability Assessment. Our mission is to advance the use of multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA) for supporting the transformation of energy systems. We provide a collaborative platform for researchers, fostering the development and dissemination of innovative methods and approaches in MCDA sustainability assessment.
On October 22nd the Helmholtz Working Group on MCDA will welcome international experts at KIT-ITAS to discuss on stakeholders integration in MCDA for sustainability assessment.
More informationResearchers of KIT-ITAS presented their joint research with Leiden University at the 98th EGW-MCDA meeting in Catania. Their collaborative work focuses on the topic MCDA software for sustainability assessment.
More informationMembers of the Helmholtz working group on MCDA presented their latest work on integrating stakeholders in multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA) for sustainability assessments. Their presentation was part of the session titled “Multi-Criteria, Multi-Objective Decision-Support in Energy and Sustainability".
More informationAs part of the EU-funded project StoRIES, members of the Helmholtz Working Group on MCDA successfully conducted a workshop with key stakeholders on energy storage. The workshop marked a significant milestone as it served as the first real-world use case for the software HELDA, developed to support decision-making for sustainable energy system transformation. The worskhop fostered valuable insights from participants and demonstrated HELDA's potential in addressing complex energy storage challenges.
