Our mission is to advance the use of multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA) for supporting the transformation of energy systems. We provide a collaborative platform for researchers, fostering the development and dissemination of innovative methods and approaches in MCDA sustainability assessment.

StoRIES Workshop December 2023 in Vienna

As part of the EU-funded project StoRIES, members of the Helmholtz Working Group on MCDA successfully conducted a workshop with key stakeholders on energy storage. The workshop marked a significant milestone as it served as the first real-world use case for the software HELDA, developed to support decision-making for sustainable energy system transformation. The worskhop fostered valuable insights from participants and demonstrated HELDA's potential in addressing complex energy storage challenges.
